I stayed at Ibis hotel Chesterfield. Other things were good , but the shower was having too hot water. Even after reporting the incident it was not resolved within 2 days stay. So we weren't able to have proper bath for 2 days.

A very good budget hotel. We stayed two nights and found it to be clean and comfortable. They were very happy to have our dog there and put us on the ground floor which was easy for taking her out. It was surprisingly quiet for a hotel in a busy location, and perfect for visiting Chatsworth, Hardwick Hall etc etc.... More

We found this hotel excellent for our two day break in Derbyshire. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very quiet and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our rooms were on the third floor. The breakfast was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and polite . We would definitely return.

Standard IBIS, pretty reasonable, rooms in good order and clean. Breakfast decent. Slight annoyance for a hotel that's billed as a town centre hotel is that the expectation seems to be that everyone gets there by road, as there are no steps or footpath directly onto the pavement outside, so you have to scramble through the bushes as the quickest... We use Ibis regularly in Europe so had no qualms about booking here. Very friendly & helpful staff. Pedestrian access very poor and nearby, busy, roundabout has no pedestrian crossing/lights. OK for car owners who do not want to walk to town centre but more dangerous and less accessible for foot/bus/rail travellers
