We stayed overnight in this hotel between flights. This hotel is typical airport hotel but expencive and there are nothing to see. And if you want to walk and look Male then it's better and cheapper to stay in city because it's just 10 - 15 minuts to reach airport from the city. More

I found this to be a great hotel. Its a 2 minutes drive from the airport and a great option if you want to spend a couple of nights before moving to one of the islands. For many people coming to Maldives on flights landing at hours with no sea plane operating, this is clearly the best choice. Dont even... More

Hulhule Island Hotel is a very great place for a layover. We stayed for a night (as we arrived in Male at almost midnight) and it was a pleasant welcome to Maldives. We were able to relax in a cozy room and had a nice breakfast before heading out to our Maldivian holiday. The staff are very courteous and helpful,... More

We had pre booked a room here as we would depart our island hotel via float plane in early afternoon and needed a place to chill due to the fact we had a midnight red eye flight out to Singapore and then on to Indonesia. The hotel fitted the bill as a place to relax and catch some final Maldivian... More

Our bunch of friends were on a diving trip to some other island and in the mean while wanted to explore this city of Maldives so we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in the first week of march this year, its just located at a distance of 5 minutes journey away from the airport, the check in process... Had to stay here for a night because of my night arrival meant a layover to connect to the seaplanes out to the atolls. Service at the reception was infuriating - slow, non-communicative, and then they try to make me sign a credit card charge slip that was not mine! Rooms are spartan but on a positive note, relatively clean... More

We arrived early from the resort and were due to fly out only late in the evening. We were recommended a day-use room. Compared to the resorts and the exorbitant pricing they have, I found this hotel worth every penny we spent. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Happened to go over to the top floor restaurant for a... More

It started off with a catastrophic failure. I had a confirmed booking and showed it to them at check in but the hotel claimed it didn't have a reservation and also claimed not to have any rooms. After 2 hours of playing phone tag my agent and their middleman in the Maldives, the hotel finally admitted that they had lied... More

The Hulhule Island Resort is very expensive and the service is terrible. The reception is not very welcoming at all. The pool service is bad. You have to wait a very long time for the waiter and most of the time they just wandering around but not actually serving the guest. Avoid the a la carte Restaurant on the top... More

I have stayed here on many occasions and it is mainly geared up for Air Crews as it is next door to the Airport. Its a nice hotel with a man made beach in which the snorkelling just off shore is fantastic. The food is good but overpriced as are the drinks, but it is a predominantly Muslim country. (You... More
