Myself and my husband are return visitors to Kenmare and this wonderful Guest House. Therese is the owner of the home and always welcomes us back with open arms. It was a delight to receive the freshest homemade scones every morning and delicious pancakes to set us on our way for the day. Therese has in depth knowledge of the... More

We were doing a whirlwind tour of southern Ireland and trying to squeeze in as much as we could. We stayed two nights at O'Shea's. The bed was average. The bathroom was frigid cold. Kenmare was a great little town for exploring, but my DH refused to take the walk along the highway to town, so we had to drive... More

I stayed here former times. This time it was also good, but I did not like funghis in the shower (strong!) This is a real health aspect and akes away 2 points from the ranking. There was good WIFI and the rooms are spacy. It is too far away from downtown (2-3 km) for those who have no car. I... More

We had made advance reservation here for our stay around Kenmare. We had no trouble corresponding with the owner, and everything went as well as planned. It was a lovely place and a little off the "beaten path", so you don't need to worry about too much traffic. We had a lovely walk into Kenmare. We stayed here thee days... More

Our family stayed with Therese. She was more than we could have hoped for. We had a big, beautiful room. Our sons had a very nice room as well. The setting is beautiful. The location is incredibly convenient to the beautiful to the town of Kenmare. All of these things are important, but pale in comparison to the very personal... More

A week ago we stayed 5 nights at O'Shea's Ceol Na Habhann b&b. We had a warm welcome from Therese with tea and coffee. We could choose any bedroom, because we where the only guests. It was the first time we came to Ireland in October, so i think that was normal. After all it's the end of the season,... More

On a recent staycation we booked in here for a week end. What a warm welcome we got from Therese, tea and bikies on arrival which was much appreciated after a long drive. The rooms were a generous size and spotlessly clean too with lovely flat screen TVs. The pancakes and homemade scones were delicious and my other half loved his... More

The four of us in our group agree...this was our favorite! It was so comfortable and welcoming, like visiting with your favorite Aunt (or cousin, or grandparent, depending on your age.). We arrived to the wonderful smell of fresh baking, and it was apple tarts with fresh cream! Therese gave us the warmest welcome ever, showed us to our rooms... More

We stayed in o Shea s bed & breakfast in Aug during a short break in the Kenmare area. Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us lots of tips on things to do in the area. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean and breakfast the next morning was fab with a huge full Irish breakfast.
