We loved our 2 nights in Kenmare. The room was comfortable, and clean. The family encourages a "green" visit-which in this case isn't an excuse not to launder the linen more often. Suggested hikes and other activities are easy to find with the helpful instructions in welcome notebook in the room. The shower was the best we had all week,... More

Our one night in Kenmare was made all,the more pleasant by our stay with Fionnula at Kenmare House B&B. We were welcomed warmly, had a nice chat and were shown to our room which was spacious and clean.....nice big bathroom, logs of towels and the best shower in Ireland! A really nice and well lit walking path between the house and... More

Welcome was warm. The rooms are top specs (only the television is missing - but that is a big plus!) with a large on suite bathroom, recently furnished. This is the first accommodation during our Ireland trip where you can use the shower properly if you are taller than 6,0 ft, compliments! The breakfast and reception room are cosy and... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights recently and the place was perfect. The people there were friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. The room was clean and they let us sleep in one day without asking if they could clean the room which is a big plus! The location is great as well. You can walk to... More

We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights. All the reviews listed here are accurate. Fionnuala was very helpful in suggesting hikes ie. Gleninchaquin Park which was outstanding and restaurants like No. 35. I have recommended this B&B to family who plan to travel to Kenmare next year. Finally, we plan to return to Ireland in the next few years... More

We had a lovely stay in Kenmare House. From the moment we came in the door we knew that we had hit a gem, the welcome was friendly and genuine. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, comfortable and most important (for me) crisp cotton sheets. Breakfast was a treat with free range eggs, home made bread, fresh fruit and yoghurt,... More

Fionnuala & Dan Carraher O'Sullivan, Kemare are great hosts in Kenmare. They provided a great breakfast, rooms, beds, bath, & hosts. Their children: Ashleen & Liam are a delight. Very pretty house, nice location, ample parking. Professionally run yet still warm and inviting. Their recommendations were right on, the chocolates were delicious. Deserve the four stars.

My husband and I stayed here during our stay in Ireland and thought it was perhaps good a find as we could have hoped for in our B&B stays. We booked late into the week and were well accommodated by Dan and Fionnuala. Our room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, en suite is for us, the only way to... More
