We have stayed at this B & B twice now and are looking forward to going back soon. Our first visit was April 2010 and we returned Jan 2011. This is more like a boutique hotel, the rooms are amazing, the service is exceptional and the breakfast is just brilliant! We can't wait to go back soon. More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights here as part if an 11- day itinerary. Helen and Brian know how to make you feel very welcome. The entrance is inviting, the service is top notch, the breakfasts are amazing, and the rooms are very nice. Ours had a skylight in the bathroom and a whirlpool tub. They provide a tea... More

We've travelled the world. This is the finest property and the highest level of customer service we have ever experienced. Helen and Brian could teach a course in, "The Art of Customer Service." I have never seen such attention to detail, not even at the Ritz or Waldorf. The Queen of England would not have received better service anywhere. We... More

We spent Easter Weekend at Castlewood House. It is more like a small, boutique inn than a typical B&B. Hosts, Brian and Helen, are hospitable and helpful, very willing to do all they can to help with activity planning and restaurant reservations. The hotel is a comfortable walk from the town center and very convenient to Slea Head drive. Rooms... More

I stayed at Castlewood House in February with two of my sons. It really is a wonderful place and Helen and Brian provided a very warm welcome and were very attentive throughout our stay. The walk in to the town centre is just a few minutes (maybe after a few pints of Guinness the walk back seems a bit longer!)... More

The large room with a great bad and luxurious bath, the stunning view of Dingle Bay, the hearty and extensive breakfast, and friendly, hospitable hosts. What's not to like? It's on the edge of town, but not too far to walk, and probably quieter in this location. It's not quite a hotel, but a bit more than the typical bed... More

This place is exceptional. I feel the only drawback is the it is a distance from downtown. However after several Guiness pints and lots of Irish music the walk back was very much in order. Breakfast was very nice and wonderful to order from their menu. We would go back in a minute if work didn't get in the way. More

We booked two nights in Castlewood House just before the announcement of it's top-ten position, and couldn't believe our luck! This added to our anticipation, of course, and the Castlewood experience lived up to our every expectation. We arrived late in the evening, after a long drive, to a warm welcome and great recommendations for where to eat and where... More
