Stayed with the wife and kids for three nights. Beautiful location. The food at breakfast was outstanding. Massive garden for the kids to run around in. We had lovely weather for it. Try the pub down the road for a pint, great Guinness!

Stayed here while walking the Dingle Way. The Old Pier had been recommended by friends who visit often and I can see why. The location overlooking Smerwick Bay is perfect and we had a superb room, very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean - with that same view. The food was wonderful. We love fish and it couldn't have been better... More

Stayed two nights over the Easter. Was delighted with the amazing location and spectacular views from this Guesthouse. Such a warm welcome from the host. We eat dinner both nights because we wanted to try as much of this extensive menu as we could. The seafood is a speciality here. Also the best breakfast ever offered to us in a... More

Spent three nights here to enjoy the Dingle peninsular. Can recommend the Old Pier for its wonderful location, views across the bay to the impressive Three Sisters and for the warm hospitality provided. The breakfast was perfect with a huge full Irish breakfast with lovely breads and a local seafood option too. Plenty of fruit on offer including just picked... More

I dine in this restaurant whenever I visit Kerry. The food is out of the world, particularly the seafood. I couldn't recommend a restaurant more. The service is always fantastic, the food exceptional and the restaurant is homely and clean.

unfortunately we had a very bad experience last weekend when we were in Dingle for the Dingle Marathon. We arrived on friday evening and found out they messed up with reservations so we didn't have our room. They sent us to one of their self catering cottage miles away (in the middle of nowhere). So we almost missed friday dinner... More

We stayed at the self-catering house for 2 weeks and had dinner at the old pier restaurant twice. We enjoyed our stay, the very warm welcome we received from Jacquie and Padraig, all the help and advice they gave us to plan our visits of the area. The house was very comfortable, perfectly equipped, the food at the restaurant was... More

We stayed 9 days largely influenced by previous reviews and by the fact that the owners are dog friendly. From the first minute we arrived, the service was friendly and very attentive. Paid and Jacquie were wonderful hosts. Our bed was as comfortable as our own at home. The shower was really powerful and never a hint of running out... More

I take a break each year on the Dingle peninsular and have stayed in the highest ranking hotels/guesthouses/B&Bs but I rate The Old Pier above them all. It is located on the Atlantic coast overlooking the Old Dooneen Pier - a quaint and no longer used small fishing harbour. The views from the front of this small hotel (for that... More
