Stayed in the Hotel Ballina 17th /18th May. We bought a Groupon Voucher and planned our weekend around availability. We were made welcome form the time of arrival with real Irish Hospitality at reception. the receptionist was genuinely interested in our journey down and made sure we had all that was included in our package. I had half expected to... More

My husband and I went to stay in the Hotel Ballina May 6th to 8th to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Our room was just what we wanted, the beds are just massive and sooo comfortable, and extra pillows available in room. The bar is beautifully decorated and they have sky sports and... More

Very nice hotel with clean rooms. The management was very accommodating and helpful. The hotel restaurant was very very good. Make sure you order the seafood chowder, it was the best chowder I had in all of Ireland. They also serve a very good breakfast. I would stay here again when visiting Ballina.

Just back from a very pleasant weekend in Hotel Ballina. We were met by lovely friendly staff, very comfortable room great amenities the steam room was hot! hot! hot! We enjoyed a round of golf at Ballina Golf Club even though weather wasn't the best we still finished 18 holes. Would have no reservations in recommending this hotel.

Hotel is on southern outskirts of Ballina. Staff are friendly enough particularly in restaurant area.Clean hotel but housekeeping staff should meticulously check toilet in bathroom to emsure complete cleanliness.Bath towels ridiculously small and thin - inadequate- though this appears to be a trend in lower priced hotels. Lobby area is large but somehow lacks warmth/ambience. Food is average but again... More

Stayed here recently for an extended family weekend and really enjoyed our stay. We had connecting rooms on the first floor and rooms were bright, spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, no fridge but room service readily supplied a large bucket of ice. Ate in restaurant which was good, though not gourmet. We enjoyed the pool which is a good size, and... More

We recently had our wedding reception at Hotel Ballina and I cannot recommend the hotel high enough. Anytime we had to contact the hotel we were always greeted pleasantly, professionally and any of our queries were answered as soon as possible. The manager Jason, was an absolute god send and he and his staff made our day a fantastic one.... More

Just home from a lovely couple of days in the Hotel Ballina. From the moment we arrived we felt we were in good hands, from the very warm greeting at reception until our departure this morning. Reception is a lovely bright, airy, large area with wide sweeping stairway to the one and only floor above. Our room was so comfortable,... More

I stayed here for short getaway of three nights (starting on a Saturday) at the beginning of April. Staff were welcoming on the phone and reception without over-doing it- which I like. Lovely rooms- very spacious and clean. All the expected amenities - tea making station, ironing board etc but no refrigerator which might be a bit disappointing in the... More
