Very friendly people. Spacious room the best breakfast ever. Very quiet location in the middle of agricultural area. Lots of things to see. You should be going there. More

This was a great find about 15mins drive from Clonakilty, west Cork. It was a lovely stay in such a very kept older house..with magnificant views and lovely people. I would definitely recommend to anyone again.thanks! More

Visiting Ireland in winter could be considered as rather weird but meeting people over there makes up for all the filthy weather you will experience. An Garran Coir was one of the best legs of our February trip and Michael and Jo took great care of us. Breakfast is second to none and will keep your hunger away at least... More

I celebrated my birthday here at this lovely place in november 2009. Usually november is not the main traveling season, but this doesn't matter for me. Some people may cry about the weather in Ireland, but it was o.k. for us. We rent a car at Cork Airport and found An Garran Coir easy via GPS \ Sat Nav. In... More

Reading the reviews here, we smiled at home but when we got there...in the middle of nothing...Clonakilty was either not the place to be in the evening. It was about 2 years since we stayed and I meant to do a review but better late than never. This is a modern well kept home with beautiful views if the weather had been better! The only thing against it and it is not a problem really was that the jaccuzzi part of the bath in our ensuite wasn't... More

My son and I stayed at the An Garran Coir for ten days and we enjoyed every one of them. The place reflected the friendliness and warmth of its owners in every detail. The surroundings were perfect for families with children. The landscape looked like taken directly from an irish picturebook. Our room was comfortable, clean and very cosy. Sitting... More

This award winning farmhouse was one of our favorite B&B's during our 3 week vacation! Located in the rolling farmhills west of Clonakilty, this B&B had panaromic views of farms and is minutes from powdery sand beaches. This was the most amazing breakfast...we actually had eggs benedict instead of the typical Irish breakfast (although that is available from the vast... More
