We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful guest house some weeks ago. Nellie and Pat were most welcoming . The kettle was always on the boil for morning coffee or afternoon tea. The house was very very clean and fresh. One day we hope to go back to stay at Grove Farm again in the very near future.

We enjoyed the scenery very much. What a beautiful setting their house is in. We were referred by friends of ours and were very pleased with our stay.

My family and I had a lovely stay at this B&B. It was a relaxing and serene home to return to after spending the day touring southern Ireland. The farmhouse is set in the lush, green countryside but is still within easy driving distance of Kilkenny, Wexford, and Waterford. The nearby village of Inistioge looks like something out of a... We stayed for three nights, we were made most welcome. Each afternoon nellie made us a pot of coffee/ tea and cake. The whole bb was spotless, our bedroom was very comfortable and we enjoyed an excellant breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Would stay here again as it is one of the best places we have stayed in... More

This was the most shocking experience I have ever had in any accommodation anywhere in the world. Nellie (the owner) is the rudest and most unaccommodating hostess I have ever come across. We were down for a wedding nearby and she did nothing but moan and nag ever time we bumped into her. We were late in from the wedding... More

While we only stayed one night, we were greeted by Nellie and immediately made to feel welcome with tea and biscuits. Nellie then recommended a venue for dinner in the local village which was excellent. While at first it seems out of the way, we found as we travelled, through various stages of our trip that the area is relatively... More

We were to check in after 2:30 pm on April 15th.. However, we arrived at 12:30 pm. Nellie was a wonderful hostess. She allowed us (me, my wife, son and grandson) to check in early. She provided snacks and discussed the surrounding area. She was very friendly and great company. We were booked for 4 nights, but after 2 days,... More

We stayed for one night in an ensuite room and it was enough! Hospitality was at a minimum for a service in the tourism industry. We were down for breakfast 10 minutes late (last breakfast at 9.30a.m.). We walked into the dining room and there was another couple finishing their breakfast, and Mrs. Cassin in the kitchen next door. The... More

The Grove Farm House is by far the most unpleasant of lodgings I have ever has the mispleasure of staying in. We attempted to check-in between 7:30 and 8 pm on a Friday but were unable to do so as Nellie, the owner, had a party to attend and would not be back until 11:30. After some negotiation we arranged... More

My husband and I prefer to stay in B&B's over hotels. I highly recommend the Grove Farmhouse in Inistioge, Ireland. If you plan to visit Kilkenny, Waterford and Cashel, then this is a perfect location! Our host, Nellie, owns a 200 year old working farmhouse and it is beautifully decorated. It is within an hour's drive to the towns mentioned... More
