This hostel is good value for your money. We had a two persons private room that was very clean and cosy. We had a great view on Clifden Bay. The kitchen and sitting area are ok. Stayed 2 nights with my wife and 9 year old daughter. This is a wierd place. The kitchen is a joke. It is so small it is totally inoperable with more than 2 people in it. A bit noisy and dirty, even if you are in the centre of Clifden. The bathrooms miss intimity and are not very cleaned. Possible to have full irish breakfast at the bakery near the hostel. The bedrooms are not very cleaned (it smells humidity). But it's a nice place to meet other people who spend their holidays

I staid there a few days ago, a week before it gets busy. It was quiet when I was there as it just opened. The owner is great. He is concerned about any wish you have and he really cares. He runs home to get you an Internet broadband stick, etc. It feels like this hostel really is his gem.... More

Great hostel.Very homey atmosphere.Very friendly people. Cozy, quiet and clean. Perfect location for exploring Clifden's bars and pubs. Great value for money. We've been there twice already and we will definitely be back there again :)
