This was a lovely stay made especially happy by the gracious Dorothea. Given that it is,as advertised, a working farm we were delighted with everything. Thank you Dorothea Brian& Pam More

We love Doretha the owner of this B&B she went out of her way to help us with directions to cleaning our clothes. This house is located where you can easily tour the Ring of Kerry or Dingle. The food was made to oder anyway that you like. We love the working farm and the animals. More

We stayed at Hillview Farmhouse for 4 nights of our 2 week vacation in Ireland. The food and Irish hospitality were second to none. Dorthea & Joe are wonderfully friendly, informative hosts. They made us feel right at home and even took us on a personal driving tour one afternoon through the Gap of Dunloe - Kenmare area. The rooms... More

We were looking for an accommodation close to the Ring of Kerry and found Hillview on a website for Irish B&Bs decribing it as a farmhouse with a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Personally, I was caught by the word "homebaking" :-) We were welcomed very friendly by Dorothea and her cute little puppy dog and got a room with a... More

On the upside Hillview was reasonably priced, easy to find, and the breckfast was above average. On the downside the location was disappointing, the buildings a bit run down looking, the room had no tea making facilities and we certainly didn't feel like it was a home from home! Amazed at all its good reviews - hence I'm adding this... More

WOW - this B&B was AMAZING - like a home away from home. When you arrive, Dorothea greets you with tea and scones. AND...the best part is the fun the kids got to have interacting with the farm animals...milking the goat and feeding the pig - thanks Dorothea! Your breakfast is the best! You can tell the milk and eggs... More

Imagine our surprise that Dorothea was familiar with gluten-free living and even provided gluten-free bread every morning with breakfast and every evening with tea! Very friendly B&B with a very homey feel. It was lovely staying on a working dairy farm with plenty of farm animals! Of the three places we stayed in Ireland this was the best breakfast (traditional... More

Just back from 5 days at Hillview farmhouse, Killorglin, Co. Kerry with my 9 year old daughter. What an experience she had. Helped Joe, the farmer, bring in the cows both morning and night. Led them to the milking parlour, and got dirty helping Joe with the milking. She also helped feed their 6 Border Collie pups, who were 6... More
