Cottages for couples gave myself and my partner a most enjoyable and relaxing experience from beginning to end. They gave us excellent directions to the main house where we met Peter and he gave us a little map to our little barn and excellent information about the area and things to do. On arrival at river bank barn we were... More

It was our first weekend away as a couple and we stay in the Courtyard Cottage 1 which was really cosy and romantic. The cottage was tidy and well looked after. A bottle of champagne waited for us as well as a little welcome note from the owners. We couldn't wait to get into our bathrobes and to try out... More

Sadly these expectations were not validated. Lonely and unloved - Untidy - Clearly the owners strength lies in marketing. The Cottage scheme certainly has great potential and although there are no real 'attractions' in the immediate vicinity, the place does offer a certain calmness. Our Cottage was very poorly maintained and quite basic, lots of things did not work, CD... More

We stayed in the Lassanroe Barn which was exceptional. The barn itself was spotless & very well maintained. From the minute we walked through the door we knew we made an excellent choice. Would we go there again....yes, without any doubt whatsoever! If we could afford it, we would buy it! :-) To Anna & Peter, thank you for making... More

Badly needed a night away with my husband - no kids - no interruptions. This was absolute heaven. It was just so romantic - hot tub - Champagne - petals on the bed - Bathrobes to cuddle up in!!! Loved the cottage - cant wait to go back!!!! I More

Just want to say that my wife and I had a wonderful time in cottage number 1 . It was a lovely location, very quite, romantic and cosy. The cottage was perfect upon arrival, from the very cosy bedroom to the heat of the outdoor hot tub to the lovely bottle of bubby enjoyed by the two of us. we... More

We just spent 3 amazing days at Riverbank Barn! From the moment we arrived everything was perfect! The cottage was clean & very cosy & had everything that we could have wanted- including some bubbly for the hot tub!! It is very remote but it was only €10 in a taxi into Skibb. I didn't know what to expect at... More

Just want to say that myself and the girlfriend are just home from an amazing 2-night stay in one of the Courtyard Cottages. It was absolutely amazing. It's a brilliant location, easy driving distance of Mizen Head and it's surrounding, sandy beaches. Cork is on the way for most, so a stop off in the English Market is perfect for... More
