In the end of October 2011 I've travelled Ireland for a week with four friends. After a stay in a hostel on the first night, we'd decided to try a B&B. After this we've stayed in other B&B's as well, but I'd like to think this one is the best we had this week. We found there are lots of... More

My husband, brother and I stayed at Ard Na Laoi for 2 nights in October 2011. It was a great location on the seafront, and a hospitable welcome from Michael made a great start to the visit. Rooms were comfortable and clean, the sea-view delightful, Irish breakfast with white pudding beautifully cooked, and also fresh soda bread, a large harbour-view... More

Michael and Bridgette O'Shay made our stay at the Ard Na Laoi a most pleasant memory of the south coast. The rooms are on the small size, the smallest of the B & B's we booked during our 3 weeks in Ireland but ours was very comfortable. Breakfast is yummy with many choices, served with Michael's lilting conversation and smile.... More

Outstanding place to stay and the whole experience was wonderful. The room was spacious, the beds were spotless and Michael is such a nice host. Our room was on the first floor facing the street. It over looked the last port of call for the Titanic. The location is wonderful and I wish we could of stayed longer than what... More

Michael is a very warm and welcoming host. Our room was clean and spacious. Cobh is an interesting town and this B & B is a great value with easy access to Kinsale without paying the Kinsale lodging prices. I definitely recommend Ard Na Laoi. More

Michael was very welcoming. The room was large and there were great sitting rooms to enjoy coffee/tea and tv. We arrived late in the evening when everything was closed up. We woke up early to go see the sites around Cobh before having a wonderful breakfast! Great little town! More

Pronounced Cove, we stayed for one night at the Ard Na Laoi, opposite the harbour. The 60 Euro a room price was good value with a big breakfast and comfy bed. The location was excellent and the parking was on the street but metering does not start until 11am th next day after 7pm. For a one night stop it... More
