position is the best that anne's has going for it. sea facing rooms have glorious view with all neccessities. lots of stairs to get there and a sparse breakfast but the very helpful owner can be persuaded to accommodate requests.

Although this is not the typical cutesy B&B, it is located in a beautiful, convenient town just north of Dublin. Close to the DART train for easy travel to the city without the hassle of a car. Jonathan and his family are very friendly and helpful. Clean , comfortable and as we had a front room we had a beautiful... More

I booked this B&B at short notice for a family funeral. The owner responded as if it was most inconvenient to take a booking at such short notice, as if he was fully booked. It transpired that I was the only person there. The room was adequate, but was bitterly cold (it was February). There was no discernible heating, and... More

Ann's is in a fantastic location in the lovely village of Howth, which is it's best quality. The B&B is adequate as is the breakfast served. Jonathon is a very friendly man who enjoys a good conversation. He had some good and helpful advice for us which was much appreciated. Don't bother e mailing for a reservation, you won't get... More

My sense of Ann's was that the very friendly owner had few rooms over his home, and you're welcome to crash there if you're not too much bother. He's a super friendly fellow. Good points: The rooms are neat and clean, you're only about 25 minutes getting into Dublin, the sound of the surf is lovely outside your window, plenty... More

My wife and I have just enjoyed a short stay at Ann's. The B&B is in an amazing location, right on the harbour at Howth and with very easy access to Dublin thanks to the DART. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast (choice of cornflakes or muesli, tea/coffee, juice and bulk quantities of toast + jams etc) makes... More

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable with a spectacular view to the pier and harbor. Jonathan servers a very good coffee in the morning so we had a prefect start into the day. In Howth you can enjoy the sea and some wild hillside-walks and if you plan to travel to Dublin the DART takes you there within... More

Ann's is a great little B&B only 20 minutes by train from Connelly Station, Dublin. If you are looking for a place near to Dublin, but much quieter, cleaner and cheaper, Howth is a perfect little town on Dublin Bay. And in Howth, Ann's is a great deal! John, the owner, is a reasonable and likable guy. One review mentioned... More

My wife and I decided to stay in Howth rather than in Dublin itself while visiting Dublin. The views in Howth and accommodations were excellent. We suspect that many would rather stay there rather than stay in Dublin, if they were more aware of the advantages of staying in Howth. The DART train access was very convenient and took us rather... We arrived one evening and were rather rudely greeted for having arrived 45 minutes late. The room was fine, quiet and airy. Breakfast was fairly poor and for 80 euros , I expected a little more effort.
