Decided we had to stay here from its website. A quirky family run establishment with a pub, shop, b and b and restaurant - my curiousity got the better of me. Initially thought a similarly named B and B in the village of Kilkee was this but a phonecall sent me in the right direction (N.b. this is place is a... More

We stayed with Michael and Ashley and found it to be superb ! A small establishment that met our every need. We arrived early in the morning and were met by Michael waiting for us. Snacks and tea and our room ready for sleep. They were most helpful and the eveing meals were extrordinary. They made our trip special. We'll... More

We were so taken with Keanes we stayed an extra night...and tell Michael is WAS because of the food. Just the best dining experience of the week. We are going back in June again and wil be at Keanes for more of the finest dinner & small pub atmosphere in the southwest. Thank you VERY MUCH More

I stayed with my wife for 2 nights on a B&B and Evening meal package. It was fantastic value. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful, the food is wonderful and the rustic ambience of the traditional bar with a peat fire burning was pure charm. The saying "there are no strangers, only friends you have yet to meet" is... More

What an amazing place. We stayed for a week in September 2007 and were treated like family by the owners. Its in an ideal situation for breathtaking scenery and the accommodation was superb. Try eating in the restaurant for a real treat. Michaels cooking is divine. We have just booked to go back this September and we hope to make... More

The hotel looked nothing like the pictures on its website. The room was a converted garage that overlooked the dump! The sign on the front of the 'hotel' was literally swinging in the breeze. Only the 'Munsters' would approve of this establishment. Stay away from it! More

I feel I must reply to the review by KrisK "What a Dump" Aug. 19th 2007. What MrK omitted to say was he never actually stayed at my establishment (our records show he cancelled) so I am very surprised he can pass judgrement on it. . If Mr K did his homework and read reviews on the establishment on other... More

We stayed at Keanes back in 2001 but its still fresh in the mind. As they all made a lasting impression. The accomodation was everything we needed for a week away. Double bed, jac bath and kitchen and small living area. The food in the restaurant was out of this world, so tasty. We spent many a happy evening in... More
