I had to go to a local funeral and travelled from Dublin down when I phoned ahead to inquire about a room I got Betty on the phone, she was so warm and pleasant that normally I'd check around for price etc but this time I booked immediately and I knew I made the right choice. When I arrived at... More

We were invited to a wedding in Kinnitty and booked for 5 nights at Aaron House. Betty greeted us and made us feel at home right away. We opted for the full breakfast which was delicious ( home made soda bread lovely!) to keep us going, as there wasn't anywhere to have a coffee or a meal. We didn't have... More

I first came across Aaron House near the end of a motorcycle trip from Rosslare to Birr on a very wet October afternoon last year. Cold, wet, tired and hungry, I phoned ahead and was immediately struck by the warm and friendly response I received from Betty Grimes who runs this lovely Guesthouse in Kinnitty, nestling at the foot of... We stayed here for a wedding and were so delighted with the welcome, room, location and breakfast. The warm and homely feel of the B and B is a welcome change from some hotels we've been to. The breakfast was a welcome change from the usual scrum one finds at a breakfast buffet in many of the more expensive hotels... More

A warm welcome, good breakfast, lovely room a short walk from Kinnity Castle Hotel where our friends were having their wedding. Good value for money - would definitely recommend staying here. More

This was our first night in Ireland on this visit and our first stay here. We were made very welcome by the family and had a superb room with tons of space and great facilities. Betty fusses over you for bbreakfast and ensures you have a great start to the day. Hotel is technically in Kinnitty couple of miles from... More

We stayed at the Aaron House for two nights. Our room was large, comfortable and spotless. Our hosts, Michael and his daughter Robin (his wife Betty who usually manages the B&B was out of town) were absolutely wonderful to us, happy to accommodate and answer every question we had. The breakfast was large and delicious. It's a great place to... More

My wife and I were stranded due to the volcano and decided to take our rental car west away from the major cities. Aaron House was a perfect refuge for us. Quiet, beautiful, luxurious, friendly, and affordable. Betty was great! The food and lodgings were stellar. We loved the area for the hiking, small town intrigue, and proximity to golf,... More
