Stayed for a weekend late March and the accommodation was quiet out of season. The room was basic but comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was excellent and staff/proprietor friendly. Tea rooms and shop at The Stables definitely worth a visit during any stay in Birr for coffee and cake!

Stayed here again (4th time). The owners have closed the restauraunt part down - we were very disappointed - they have changed it into a coffe shop and an "emporioum" that sells the most beutiful furnishings, jewlery, gifts, linen etc. dispite the closure of the resturant the rooms and location made up for everything - it definelty is the best...
