We stayed in the self catering houses and we were met at reception by Tara who was very polite and friendly at check in and check out!
The house itself was lovely but a little cold on first evening which was remedied by the open fire :)

This hotel is underused and fells like staying in a ghost town. The rooms where not clean, staff tried hard but only there some of the time. The lights did not work in the elevator and the many hallway doors where noisy. Breakfast was OK, the bar and restaurant were not open.
I's suggest skipping Doolin altogether unless you enjoy...
