Maeve Fitzgerald is a delight - affable and ready with dining/touring suggestions. Wonderful linens, comfortable bed, plenty of places to plug in devices and store personal items. Skylight in bathroom and lovely window view. Nice sitting room for wifi access allows chatting with other guests. Tasty breakfast! Would definitely stay again. More

I stayed 2 nights with two brothers. We were up early to have a look around. It was near the end of our trip and we had learned that driving is much easier in the early morning hours, just after sunrise. The surrounding area is beautiful. We came back for a delicious full Irish breakfast - the best we had... More

We stayed one night here. The location was excellent, there were a couple great local pubs nearby that we could easily walk to. Maeve was a great host and she recommended we take the ferry ride by the cliffs of mohr...definitely the best decision we made! The views of the cliffs from the water are breathtaking. More

Just returned from a great one night stay in Doolin at Churchfield B&B. I can highly recommend Churchfield as a place to stay in Doolin. We stayed in a triple room, which was large and spotlessly clean. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was great. The room was bright and airy and we had a great night’s sleep.... More

Churchfield B&B was the very first place we stayed in Ireland. We arrived in the afternoon, and Maeve greeted us as if we were already fast friends. She showed us to a comfortable room, and made sure we were set for the evening. She offered hints on where to go for food, music, and sights. We had a wonderful evening... More

We just finished a lovely 2 night stay at this wonderful B&B in Doolin. Maeve was delightful, and filled with insights and local, practical knowledge. She is the absolute definition of what hospitality should be. By the end of the weekend, we had visited all of the wonderful pubs and local sights and felt quite at home in Doolin. In... More

Doolin is a fantastic place to be at, even in the coldest of winters in Ireland. This great B&B is in the picturesque village of Doolin, not far from the Cliffs of Moher. By car, it should take you some 10 minutes from the Cliffs' Visitors Centre to Churchfield. Maeve is wonderful, she was really helpful and kind. The rooms... More

Maeve, Maeve, Maeve! The hospiltality given by Maeve at her little B&B cannot be outdone. My seven friends and I recently traveled throughout Ireland. Since Doolin, Co. Clare is one of my favorite spots on earth, in addition to McGann's Pub, we were looking for a place on short-term notice that could accomadate all eight of us. It was off-season,... More

If your staying in Doolin a night or two Churchfields is wonderful. I came back again and stayed at Maeve's self catering house in Doolin on the hill behind Gus O'Conners pub. It was simply wonderful and the view is the best in Doolin. It is for weekly rental only Sat to Sat. If your looking to save some money... More
