We stayed 5 nights in June. Room was excellent and staff very friendly and welcoming. Great location to tour both Scotland and England. Breakfast great. We only managed to eat a meal there one evening, but enjoyed it. The main bar was entertaining . Would definitely consider staying there again.

We stayed at the Graham Arms for 3 nights in May, and ate in the restaurant each evening because the food was so good. We've just had a 3 night stay at Dunblane Hydro and ate in the 'Kailyard by Nick Nairn' restaurant each evening - and the food wasn't a patch on the Graham Arms! The Graham Arms hides... More

We stayed overnight while attending a local wedding and the beer, food and accommodation are all excellent, particularly for the price point. The main bar was very lively in the evening and the staff provide a warm and extremely helpful welcome. If they have 'tomato sausage' on the specials menu do try it, a wonderful local delicacy.

Dear Sir I am sorry you where disappointed with your stay, but i must take issue with some of your comments, the curtains are only two months old and are not dirty and torn, one of the lampshades had a small mark on it which has been wiped off, the radio is not yellow ,it is ivory to match the... In need of TLC is too good, certainly for the room we stayed in (6). Bathroom and bed nice and clean, but room badly needs refurbishing. Staff great, food great, but room not worth the money. Shower took 5 minutes to get warm. Curtains dirty and torn, lampshades dirty, stained and broken, yellow radio(should have been white), big stain in... More

I dined early evening in the dining room of the Graham Arms (only to sit at a proper table height otherwise the bar area would have been fine ) and was delighted to be greeted by a vivacious waitress and a varied, interesting menu. Service was prompt and food quality good. The restaurant area was bright, clean, generally well decorated,... More

I visited the Graham Arms a month ago on the way back from Scotland and stopped for lunch. I must say for £ 7.95 the scampi and chips was very good value and the service was quick and very polite. Also as they sell real ale, this is a bonus as this is all I drink in the way of... More

Dear Sir Thank you for your feedback, I am pleased you enjoyed your lunch, the bar was only decorated last year, but please bear in mind the hotel was built in the mid 18th century and to have it modernised would not be in keeping for a Grade 11 listed property. Yours Paul More

Stayed at the Graham Arms hotel for one night due to everywhere else be booked up for weddings at nearby Gretna. First impressions weren't great. Couldn't access the hotel immediately as three drunks from the adjoining pub had blocked the entrance. First room was declined as it was miniscule and had no en suite. Second was better but needed TLC.... More

I am sorry your stay was not to your satisfaction, the first room you saw although it is small does have an en-suite. The room you stayed has now got a new mattress, the window has been cleaned and painted and the shower stall tray resealed. Thank you for your comments as they help us to keep the hotel up... More

My family had a lovely stay at the Graham Arms. Lovely friendly atmosphere, great food & nice clean well stocked rooms. The ideal base to visit Cumbria & the Scottish Borders. Staff went above & beyond to look after us & both they & the locals made us very welcome. Great for familys, couples or anyone wanting a good value... More

Our wedding party stayed at the Grahams Arms, for our wedding at Gretna in September, we were all made to feel very welcome. The rooms and the food were excellent, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel very welcome, especially stuart. We wouldn,t hesitate to stay there again in the future.
