Previously stayed here a couple of years ago but the refurbishment is fantastic. Room decor is great very functional and all mod cons. Staff are very pleasant and welcoming. The room was well stocked with tea, coffee, including Nespresso, and quality toiletries. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable.

We stayed two nights in Jun 13. The rooms had everything you need. Very Comfy King bed, Great black out curtains, good shower, and an excellent Nespresso machine that was complimentary ! The location of the hotel is just a block from the start of the main street and very close to Australia Park which has the BEST play area... More

I stayed here a few weeks ago for work and was plesantly surprised. The room was very clean, the bathroom was immaculate. The bed was extremely comfortable. In terms of value and quality I cannot reccomend this place enough. Will not hestitate to stay there again when in Albury.

We stayed for 3 nights. Room was clean, all appliances worked, the car park is convenient and the staff are very helpful. We had a problem with the air-con that was addressed immediately and satisfactorily. Can’t comment on Hovell Tree Inn for sleep – as we didn't sleep there – being locals. Instead, we used the venue for a business function – 2 day training program. This was so much better than I had ever anticipated. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable (great night's sleep), the car park really conveniently located, the staff friendly and helpful, and there was Nespresso machine (with pods) in the room - what more could you ask for!!!? Thoroughly recommendable, and while the cheapest, it was good value for money.

I guess it was the chefs night off but for a good motel it lacked seriously in the quality of the food at night. Service fine, wines fine but quality of cooking and dishes was poor even for a good motel,

We were travelling from Canberra to Melbourne and decided to break the drive with an overnight stay in Albury. We picked this hotel after looking at TripAdvisor and were delighted. The rooms are great, the place is spotless, the area is safe and the the service is excellent. Plus, we got a good rate!
