When we pulled up to the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel, we were on the last leg of our honeymoon. We'd been in Hawaii for about 10 days, and had stayed at a broad spectrum of hotels, ranging from the resort-style Turtle Bay to the 50's-era Breakers Hotel in Waikiki. Our expectations were set at a clean room and a good... More

Everything was perfect here. It was incredibly special, and we will be staying here again and again. The staff was professional and kind, the food good, the grounds beautiful, and snorkeling with the honu was unforgettable. Thanks to the Mauna Lani for a unique, beautiful experience! More

We Love this hotel, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, grounds and fish ponds were wonderful. It is not as posh as the other hotels like fairmont, etc , in fact , the decorations could use a little updating but it is very charming and clean. Very hawaiian , nature feel. We love the beach, water was calm, there... More

Yes, our stay at Mauna Lani was one of the best parts of our two week trip to Hawaii! I selected the Mauna Lani after reading the Tripadvisor ratings and they were spot on - this is a very special place - one we hope to return to again some day soon. Key points worth noting: - You feel welcome... More

This is 1 of 3 hotel resorts we stayed at on our trip to the Hawaiian Islands and it was a great start to our vacation. And, it certainly was the BEST by far! From the moment we walked in, we were Wow'd with their service and open air lobby with lush tropical landscaping lined with ponds, fish, turtles, and... More

It was one of the most beautiful hotels on the big island. The location is fantastic and the hotel has beautiful grounds and the interior is well done. We stayed at the garden view room with 2 children. It was so spacious and tastefully decorated. We did not feel cramped in anyway. The buffet breakfast had a great variety and the... More

Loved this hotel, the breeze blows throughout the hall ways, letting you know you are on an Island each time you step out of your room. Furnishings are very nice, our ocean view was wonderful and private balcony was perfect for afternoon drinks and morning coffee. The grounds are cared for by very qualified people who use a broom and... More

We are locals who travel to kona monthly. Staying in different hotels. Every month. We have been horrified at lack of basic services. Dirty rooms to terrible customer service. It was a pleasure to stay at the mauns lani which gives you a unique Hawaii expieriance. It's beautiful. Rooms are comfortable although the beds are hard. But whats great is... More

We were at the Mauna Lani a few days before a wedding (also held there--lovely!) and enjoyed the hotel and its beautiful grounds. Because of the wedding we got an amazing price for an ocean view room. The pool area was great, and the snorkel equipment the hotel provided was excellent quality, which enhanced the experience. We waled over to... More
