“Good hotel, some improvements necessary”

It's a hotel good enough for one night of business trip. Not so much exaggeration in comfort but rooms are cozy, mostly German channels on tv, very polite staff, perfect location if one wants to go for a walk to a rather dull centre of Bottrop. During our stay in the Golden Tulip Hotel in Bottrop we experienced a lot of trouble concerning the construction works of the big shopping centre, just across the narrow street; construction workers were busy from 6.30 am till 9.30 pm, causing a lot of noise; family rooms are only available at the front side of the hotel; we don’t recommend... If your going to warner Bros. Movie World than I recommend you stay here. About 20 min drive away.Clean large rooms with SaunaAbove average hotel, in a not so nice location. Area is a bit run down (no biggie). Offers free above ground parking, below ground you have to pay.Does have an fitness room but the equipment is so so.... More
