The historic building of the Saxildhus makes a few wood cracking sounds and such but the surroundings and cleanliness are nice. The staff was very polite and the breakfast was better than average. This place feels like home, the staff certainly makes you feel at home. The furnishing with original italian furniture gives the hotel an authentic, cosy atmosphere. The rooms were old (170 years old), beds were OK. Internet access was quite frankly terrible - day and night - not a load or bandwidth issue - probably some defective gear.
