Firstly, a warning about the local roads! The N31/E46 road from Compiegne to Soisson is an awful road and is potholed along its course. Near the village of La Vache Noire, coming in from Compiegne there is a level crossing. BEWARE! We visited this campsite in early April 2013. We stayed in a Deluxe 3 bed and decking accommodation for 2 nights and then were upgraded to one of the Lodges. This was a great site we stayed on last year. It is beautifully kept with large pitches. The pitch we had was surrounded by hedges, which made reversing the van onto it a bit tricky,but not impossible. Other pitches don't have the hedge to contend with. This was the first of three campsites we stayed in to go to France for the first time. We arrived and the staff were very helpful and friendly, it was set out very lovely and very big.
