Mérida hosts an impressive ancient Roman archeological site. It can't be compared with Rome's, but it's an almost complete Roman city with a Circus Máximum (a chariot racing stadium), a well preserved arena, a beautiful amphitheatre, some remnants of the Forum (sort of a main square in important roman cities), a well preserved temple, an impressive bridge, a roman aqueduct... This modern hotel is in a great position, only a 10/15 minute walk to the Roman ruins and the centre of Merida. It has plenty of parking, but you can park for free on the road outside. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The breakfast is excellent. However the staff throughout the hotel left a lot to be... More

The hotel rooms passed as acceptable - good. Unfortunately, the first thing I noticed both times I entered the hotel were the strong smells, once of food from the bar area - not in a good way, and the next from cleaning chemicals. The receptionist gave a less than warm welcome. I walked to the pool area while my husband... More

I stayed here with my husband and 2 adult children. We overnighted in Mérida en route to Sevilla and in order to visit the impressive Roman ruins. The hotel rooms were clean, quiet, and cool. Breakfast buffet was very good. The best part was being only a 15-minute walk from the extensive and well-preserved ruins. More

The hotel is a short walk from the main archeological attractions. It is a well-appointed hotel with business-like service. The noise level was a bit high which somewaht detracted from a good night's rest. More

A great, clean, modern, and inexpensive hotel in a beautiful - and full of history - city. The included breakfast is good, parking is around the corner, the hotel is located short walk away from most of many attractions of the city. More

Found it on a Satnav at last minute. Easy to navigate to, very welcoming, very efficient, and NOT expensive. Good quality room, everything worked and very comfortable. Good to have WiFi as well. Only negative points are the cigarette-smoke smells from the bar adjacent to reception, the additional charge for semi-secure parking (with avoidance of any responsibility) and the 20... More

Its a good hotel, but I would say it was more a three star hotel than a four star hotel. Rooms weren't very big, and the beds were a bit uncomfortable. More

I've stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and I was satisfied because, the staff was nice and the rooms were very clean. The bathroom is very big I was suprised with the size. The beds are very good. About the city I don't recomended to be there to many days, because it is small and you can see everthing... More
