Travelled to Limone on my motorbike with my girlfiend and was so happy when we got to the Gardenia! Was welcomed at the door by the owners and welcomed in!
As far as I could work out all rooms had a lake view. Being up the hill was great as you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere...

Had originally booked this hotel for 3 nights but arrived 2 days early. Unable to accommodate us, the proprietors (family Montagnoli) could not have been more helpful ,recommending a small nearby guesthouse . With the offer in the meantime of the use of the Hotel Gardenia pool and to dine there.
