Stayed here for 2 nights. We upgraded for € 10 p.p.p.n. to a room on the 5th. floor in the new section. Great view and very modern and luxurious room. This hotel is the best if you are looking to get some sleep away from the noise of the main square. It's about a 15 minute walk to the train station and square. Rent a bike at the front desk and do some exploring of the Dutch countryside and historical Bergen Op Zoom. The restaurant is fantastic.

Really terrible customer service in every possible aspect. Inattentive and unhelpful staff. Even the simplest requests go unheeded. Dinner menu is way overdone for this level of hotel in this location. Breakfast buffet is acceptable.

The 6th time I staid in the Hotel. The last 3 years management changed 3 times. In 2010 it was a Golden Tulip Hotel, in 2011 independent and in 2012 a Fletcher Hotel.
