Spent a weekend in the cold winter here. Reception welcome is friendly, as was the room (type superior, frontside). Restaurant was quite full on Fri evening and more quiet on Saturday; great cooking and enough choice though it's really 3/4-star pricing. (On the other side of the road there's a Chinese restaurant as fallback...)

I chose this location for its easy access to western Westphalia and eastern Gelderland. It was much more than I'd expected. As a lone senior woman traveler I was completely at home. The rooms were impeccable, the restaurant and its service excellent. When I needed help (broke a tooth!) the desk staff whipped into action and arranged an immediate appointment...
