Welcoming staff, clean rooms. Only negative was the watermead pub over the car park and the jobs worth boy serving breakfast who turned away my 8 year old grandson who changed his mind to scrambled egg in stead of fried saying you are only allowed 1 visit.

This time visited on a Sunday night, we had no problems with the lodge and were allocated a clean room that had everything we needed, as it was Sunday the pub was very busy but we were able to find a table and had a good meal.

A fairly new easy to find Travelodge with 2 floors, that has popular a new pub/restaurant across the way. Very clean tidy & quiet, with a nice warm welcome. Usual shower in the room etc. The small village has a couple of small shops, a Chinese take-away & an Indian restaurant.

Cheap and cheerful. Got three nights for just over 50 pounds! This is the best Travelodge we have stayed in. The rooms are lovely and clean with nice towels and bed linen. This is an excellent travelodge, newish of course, opposite an excellent Marstons pub Watermead, which serves very good reasonable food and a carvery breakfast. Russ on reception very helpful.
