Very reasonable priced place to stay. Friendly hospitality, stunning lookout, nice interior, clean rooms, beautiful decorated lounge combined with the owners, Nick great sense of music,it is a perfect stay in tranquillity. Nick was very, very helpful giving explanations and hints about beautiful Arcos de la Frontera where to go and what to see. I had the luck, that he invited... More

Nick was a great host who gave us helpful information on getting to his amazing cliff side hostal via bicycle & provided us safe bike storage when we arrived. He knows the area well and his apartments are really neat -- comfortable and clean with fabulous views. We hung our bike clothes to dry on the roof terrace and explored... More

This is less like a hostel and more like a great B&B! The owner, Nick, is very helpful and will offer suggestions for meals and sites. The views from the balconies and terraces are stunning. Overall, this hostel is stunning! More

We spent a week in the top floor apartment of Casa Blues in September 2011. The host. Nick, is extremely helpful and the delightful public sitting area on the entrance/ground floor is a welcome retreat when you come home in the evening. The rooms of the 2 bed apartment are simple but have everything you need. The second bedroom is... More

Arcos is not big place and it is very much up and down. Casa Blues is a great budget option with one of the best views we had on our trip. We took the bus into Arcos from Saville (nice trip) and a cab to case blues for 7E. There is a local bus (1.5E) that runs through town from... More

Nick was a wonderful host, the rooms were spotlessly clean, and I loved waking up to the stunning view every morning. I enjoyed my initial stay so much that I came back two more times, and will be back again. More

We had a lovely stay at casa blues, located on the best side of town, that is: quit and authentic. The roof terrasse is perfect for stunning views and to enjoy you home own little lunch, diner, tapas and wine moment. Our host is just uberfriendly and knows the area. More

We have just left Casa Blues, after a two day stay. The highlight had to be our tapas dinner on the terrace, with maybe the best view in this photogenic village. Or maybe it was coming back from dinner to find some soft blues playing in the communal living room. Or maybe it was just the easy good will of... More

This isn't your luxury hotel or boutique B&B, but we weren't looking for that. This place does just fine as a little home base to explore places like Sevilla and Ronda. Nick is a great host and can provide you with lots of information about Arcos de la Frontera, Sevilla, and anything else nearby. The bathroom was a little small,... More

Walking into Casa Blues out of an afternoon rain is a warming and relaxing experience. Nick had jazz playing the background, soft lighting in the common area--which is composed of comfortable couches over-looking the valley below. The bedrooms are simply furnished and very clean. They are also apparently well-insulated as we heard no noise from next door and slept without... More
