My fiance and I just spent 7 nights in Tossa de Mar at the Hotel Hermes and it was wonderful. The hotel and rooms are very cozy and clean, making it an incredible value for a 1 star. It is maybe 30 yards away from the bus station which was very convenient since we're traveling with quite a few bags....

The hotel is a little cosy family-type place, perfectly situated right next to the bus station, and virtually 5 min from anything else, be it the beach and its great restaurants or the 3 supermarkets and the weekly market area.

Have to pay additionally for the safe deposit box. Luckily air conditioning was not needed during our stay due to the windy weather, otherwise you should ask and most likely additionally pay at the reception for turning on the air conditioner. sometimes there was no hot water. Very bad sound isolation between the rooms.
