Many have come to stay at this charming hostel nestled in the heart of Providence Bay. Visitors enjoy the Manitoulin ambience and the friendly down-home charm of of Nathalie and Alain and their comfortable Inn. The author also lives on Manitoulin and has had the good fortune to attend a 'Chocolate-Making' Workshop at the Auberge Inn. The session was also... More

My husband and I were on Manitoulin Island house hunting. We stayed at the Auberge Inn and it was perfect. Truly a home away from home experience. We were given lots of information about the Island and the hosts couldn't have been more accomodating. Our stay was relatively short, but didn't lack in experience. It was great to be able... More

Auberge Inn is a wonderful place to stay on Manitoulin Island. There are not a lot of options for budget accommodations on the island, and the Inn hits all the right notes. Yes, it is a tad more expensive that most hostels, but when you consider what you get for $39, you really can't go wrong - a beautiful house... More

The Auberge Inn is a very comfortable little cosy hostel on the island of Manitoulin. It is has a very familiar feeling to it and the hosts are very personal and friendly. The price is fair and the service is excellent. The surroundings are also very good. An inspiring nature with many trails, hiking, riding, canoeing activities. I warmly recommend... More

After driving many hours from Algonquin Park we were warmly welcomed by our hosts who gave us tea and informaton on local restaurants. Our room was pleasant and we were only a block away from a beautiful sandy beach perfect for swimming and kayaking. The kayak rental was a bit expensive but our host brought the kayak to the water... Alain and Nathalie are amazing hosts at their comfortable, warm, inviting, clean and very functional hostel/B. and B. It was the perfect place to both begin our time on the island and to stay the morning before heading home on the early ferry from South Bay. We stayed in the two different private rooms as we were there on two... More

Truly a hidden gem. Natalie and Alain are gracious hosts. Their infectious enthusiasm and general positive attitude are reflected in the support they have from their community. I haven't slept in a bunk bed since i was a kid! I was pleasantly surprised, the bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean and welcoming. I slept like a baby and... More

We enjoyed our visit SO much, we stayed an extra night! Nathalie and Alain put so much effort in to making us feel at home (and looked after)- suggesting wonderful outings on the island that let us enjoy great hiking and sightseeing opportunities; recommending galleries that support local artisans and giving us some great options for fantastic food. It was... More

A group of us stayed at the Auberge Inn for one night while visiting the island last weekend. It was such a lovely stay. Natalie and Alain were very hospitable and made us feel welcome right away. I stayed in the bunk bed room, had a great sleep (the mattress and sheets are super comfy) and awoke to a yummy... More
