Historic hotel. Choice of staying in the old hotel or new. Excellent service, first class accommodation. Close to the parliamentary and ministerial offices. This is a great place to stay if you have business with the commonwealth.

Have stayed here many times over the years and the service is always exceptional and consistant. The rooms are comfy and the health club is great... The room service food is pretty good but the breakfast at the restaurant is over priced and pretty awful- I suggest you skip it and opt for a cafe in manuka or Kingston.

Built in the 1920's....beautifully maintained. An oasis of calm...lovely grounds, helpful staff, nice executive lounge with good canapés and alcohol. We had room 358 which I highly recommend, very quiet and a small balcony with a view of large trees. Disappointed in the evening buffet....pretty average and would not recommend unless tired. Excellent dining room staff. Breakfast was good.
