I found that the servie we recieved was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for the. The beds were very hard. The room was so so clean. We price we paid was reasonable we felt considering the over priced of accomadation throughout Canberra. The only negitive about it was we felt $23.00 for full breakfast for a 11 year old... More

We booked an overnight accommodation from expedia and it costed $120, which was one of the cheapest we could find at the time. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised to know that we got upgraded to a family room. The room consisted of 2 rooms seperated by a kitchenette with sink situated directly opposite the entrance. There was... More

very friendly and helpful reception staff but we arrived off a flight on friday night and were informed that the motel restaurant does not open on friday, saturday or sunday. The motel was full as it was Budget weekend, surprising really considering the captive audience. Our room was small and basic but comfortable. More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment while visiting canberra with friends. We were in a second story apartment block at the back of the main hotel. The rooms are a little boxy but adequate and clean. Shops and restaraunts in forest are not too far away and its not too far to walk to parliament house and museums and... More

Booked the apartments for 4 night and they are showing their age. The rooms are nothing flash. However compared to the price of other places around, they are good value for money. The apartments are behind the hotel/motel on a quieter street and only a short walk to Manuka shops and restuarants. The bed was very low which we found... More

We stayed 9 nights - booked through wotif.com. I wouldn't have paid the full rack price but what we got for our money was exceptionally good value. We stayed in rm 68 - a corner room with very well equipped kitchenette facilities, and a very comfortable bed. Room for two 'comfy' chairs as well as a small table with 3... More

We booked two nights accommodation based on the location and I must admit it is really good. You are within a 5 min drive of the NGA, shops and restaurants and it is located on a quiet street so traffic noise shouldn't be an issue. The not so great things: the rooms are very dated (reminds me of American motels... More

My husband and I stayed there over Easter for three nights and we found the hotel quite dated and tired, although clean. Had to ask for the kettle to be replaced twice. Reception staff were polite enough, but distracted. Don't think we would stay again! More

If you are after a reasonably priced hotel room for a short stay close to the main attractions of Canberra in a leafy spot this is it. Comfy firm bed, tiny bathroom, clean - but wait for it- noise at night & in the morning. I stayed on a Friday night. More
