Hotel Kurrajong is good option if you want to be close to parliament buildings and national gallery, and would like something a bit different (and cheaper if you get the online specials) than the big-name hotels. Large older style rooms that have been updated with new carpet and linen, comfortable bed and pillows, no complaints about the room except for one, the aircon blew out cold air on the hot setting. What more could you want really? The rooms are big and clean and comfortable. Pretty basic but friendly staff service. Fantastic location. All this for value that is really hard to find in Canberra. More
