Had a wonderful weekend at The Brassey of Canberra for the Dragons Abreast Australia National Convention. Good service, great food and venue with such character. Not your average bland hotel and that is what makes it so enjoyable.

I stay here almost monthly, with head office being in Canberra and me not. It's good value and the breakfast hits the spot. I like its 'historic' charm (historic in Canberra terms). If you're after something flashy it probably won't hit the spot, but it's in a good location and is unpretentious.
