Close to everything. We walked everywhere from City Centre to the Rocks and Paddys Markets. Airport was $47 taxi fare but we chose the train which was just a short walk from Hotel. Rooms clean and comfortable , well serviced. Bed comfy and good pillows.Staff excellent and help with all enquiries. Quiet even though rooms close.

If you need to find a hotel in the city for a couple of days just for a bed to sleep in, this hotel is in a good location and is relatively cheap. However, the rooms and furnishing are very old and may not be what you are looking for, if you want somewhere comfortable to stay for a holiday.

What a great central point to stay... close to the shops... the harbours... central station all within walking distance. We had a great stay the staff were excellent to us at all times throughout our stay. Our room was kept clean and serviced daily.

Location is fantastic, right in the city. You can get to Chinatown or Town hall easily. The air-conditioning in the room is fixed at 21 degrees Celsius which was not very warm for cold nights. Friendly staff.

The Ibis is a "budget" hotel in the Accor group. We flew into Sydney Airport and caught the most excellent train there, alighting at the "Museum" station. I shared a twin room with a friend, the room was so small we were almost on top of each other. Very much a budget hotel. Location was good. Hotel reception staff were fantastic. Very helpful, always friendly and smiling. Rooms clean, beds comfy, hotel corridors could do with a lick of fresh paint.

We had a great stay in this clean and comfortable city hotel. Best thing about this hotel is the location in World Square.
