The above four adjectives would accurately describe this TOGA property in a nut shell. If you are not familiar with the brand they own Medina, Vibe and Travelodge properties. The building itself is owned by NSW Leagues Club and Travelodge "simply rent the rooms above." There was only one lift working and was informed that it was "The Leagues Club... More

Stayed one night post flight. Got check in at 10.30am from a very good receptionist, much needed after night flight from USA. Hotel above NSW Leagues Club, good for breakfast and other meals. Hotel in good location for sightseeing and transport, bus outside plus Martin Place station 100 metres away. Rooms comfortable, good furnishings, but a little shy on soap,... More

I stayed here in Jan of 2012... The room was very basic, not very clean and i have to say the room was TINY, considering the amount for it, i expected a LOT better...very much overpriced. My advice is stay somewhere else, the location is ok but for such a tiny little room i am sure you can find better... More

Stayed for 5 nights and slept well everynight. Im a light sleeper, but never heard any noise from ay other room, which was great. The room was good, had everything you need (although internet wifi is expensive) and is in a good location. A good choice for central Sydney. More

Great hotel. Check in was fast and easy. Room was abit small but man at reception (Jonathan) was able to open the connecting door so we could share the room with our friends next door. Staff were nice and brought extra towels and blanket when we asked. Would stay again. Close to Martin place station and sights More

It was typical travelogue hotel. Chek in was fast and staff friendly. Room was reasonable with iron, microwave and in room safe. Bed was comfortable. Would have liked to see more channels on TV especially all free to air digital channels. room was clean but minibar unstocked. i was on a business trip so had limited needs.Location is very central.... Excellent locality for central city, NSW Art Gallery, Opera House, Gardens and Domain. Very close to train station with a lift. Hotel is clean, good room, reasonable price. Associated restaurant-food and restaurant service ho hum-could definitely improve here. More

Not so good for someone travelling on business and staying multiple nights. The room is a dog box and there are no digital tv channels. Its tiny and boring. As a hotel for tourists its okay, but plan plenty of activities away from the room! The central location and overall cleanliness are all the pluses i can recall. Keep in... More

We stayed here as my partner was competing in the Dextro Energy World Triathlon Sydney on Sunday 15 April. We picked it based on its location; it was only a few hundred metres from the hotel to the main part of town where the triathlon was running (and swimming, and cycling). We were pretty happy with the place - the... More
