Situated in the heart of Mitchell Street the hostel is ideally placed for backpackers! As a bonus it is opposite the world famous Crocosaurus Cove which is strongly recommended! Rooms are quite small but there are lots of guests so for lone travellers there is the opportunity to make friends.

Stayed here for 6 nights, great location for all the local shops, walking distance to the lagoon etc. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The rooms are quite clean, bathrooms as well. The pool is nice, the kitchen is a bit dirty but not so horrible. If you are in Darwin it's a good solution, maybe a bit expensive. The staff is polite but not really friendly.

Great location. Nice kitchen area. Lockers. Dirty rooms, really dusty, dirty bathroom, pool far too salty and gets shade a lot, rude staff, not very knowledgeable. I stayed at a few different ones in Darwin and this one definitely doesnt live up to price.

We stayed here a couple of nights in October 2012 in a 4 bed dorm which was teeny tiny! If you're planning to stay long term, I wouldn't suggest it but as we were only here for a short time it was fine. It's right in the centre of the city, on the same street as all the local bars... More

stayed here for a month. 4 bed dorms tiny! no room to swing a cat. but staff friendly. one down side is that you have to collect pots and pans from reception and leave your room key there while using the pots! nice pool area excellent location. wouldn't recommend to stay here long term.

I stayed here from July-October 2012, and I wouldn't have stayed if it was terrible. It wasn't cheap - $210 per week in peak season, but no where in Darwin is cheap.
