Spent two nights of last weekend here in one of the 'Pool Bungalows'. Very clean and comfortable relatively new cabins, with high ceilings and timber floors. Only 'services' in the cabin are a fridge and kettle. A communal microwave is available in the camping area if you wish to bring pre-cooked meals. No TV or wi fi in the rooms... More

The cabin was so cute and nicely set next to a swimming pool. As the sun began to set a small herd of wallabies hopped through the open field next to the the cabin - really lovely. The bath was new and the entire property was tidy and comfortable. More

There are multitudes of birds, the bush is alive with wallabies, wild pigs and probably snakes(though thankfully we didn't see any) and the river teems with fish and crocodiles. This park is an easy drive from Darwin and provides welcome respite from the noise and pace of the city. We rang and booked one of the cheaper and older cabins($90).... More

We stayed here on our way back to Darwin after a week of travelling. This place is really fabulous. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was lovely. Bed was comfortable and air con was whisper quiet. The deluxe cabins had their own pool area and the pool was fabulous after a hot day of travelling. We had dinner... More

I really enjoyed my stay. I was in a deluxe cabin which had a queen bed and privte bathroom (huge showe!). There was a little patio off the front and the pool was right in front of my cabin. Breakfast included in rate - jsut toast and cereal but that was enough. Dinner was lovely. I coud not fault service... More

I have absolutely no problem with staying in budget places but if the place looks budget but charges high rates, that's usually where I draw the line. For 120 dollars, you can stay in a trailer that looks like it was built overnight. The bathroom which you have to go outside to get to was extremely hot and had frogs... More

Out dated, dirty, the tour guide is dirty, the food is terrible, you would be better off sleeping in your car and eating road kill, spend an extra two hours on the road and bypass this property!!!! More

The family cabins are nice and new. The place has 2 small pools and nice walking tracts. You can rent bikes (I think they had 4) for a short trip around the area. This was a nice stop on our way back to Darwin from kakadu. Note the fishing can be variable- I realize that it isn't called catching but... More

We stumbled upon the Mary River Park by accident as we were actually staying down the road at Fogg Dam. We called in briefly for a drink and a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised, not only by the beautiful setting and the excellent refreshments, but also by the way in which we were accommodated by the friendly staff....
