Stayed with our 7 year old and found the staff friendly. Like others have posted the rooms are a bit dated which impacts the perceived cleanliness. Could use a mirror outside the bathroom. I stayed here for a couple of nights on a business trip. Great rooms, nice and large. Love the high ceilings. Great location and great value. The cafe near the entrance of the hotel is awful. Very BA and rude service. Go somewhere else to eat. I'd stay in the hotel again though.
