I stayed here in the 1st Week of March. While the rooms were adequate against the price, there are a couple of glaring problems that need fixing. 1. Front Desk - depending on who you spoke to, it changed from very friendly to very surly. The lady was really rude to me. 2. Carpets are in need of a really... More

1). Rude Chinese receptionist couldn't check us in as "the computer is updating, you come back later. No check in before 2pm anyway" and refused to even discuss anything. 2) We had three rooms booked and were asked for $150 per room for the key. I'm sorry - don't keys come with rooms any more???? As we then only had... More

I spent 3 nights at the Sapphire 'Resort' in Feb 2012. It was the let down of my trip to Brisbane. The hotel is tired and run down. The Chinese management and staff are extremely rude, and have no sense of customer service. Beware of their terms - a $150 deposit is required for car pass and room key!! It... More

We stayed here for one night as we had a convention at the Brisbane Convention Centre. We found the reception staff very friendly and helpful, they allowed us to check in a little earlier than the normal 2pm. It was a 10 min walk to the Convention Centre, which was ok during the day but in the evening we had... More

I totally agree with everything MikeJordan99 wrote about below! We stayed here for 3 nights between Christmas and New Year 2011. The place was like an old maze! Our room stunk the whole time with this air freshener smell that burnt your nostrils it was that strong, the air con didn't work well and was so noisy we couldn't sleep.... More

Didn't expect much for $99, and my expectations were exceeded (if you understand my comment). There is a SERIOUS issue with the rude, extremely curt young Chinese receptionist. She is without doubt the rudest, most indifferent receptionist I have encountered within 30 years of global travel. Management (if there is one), sack her immediately, you have NO idea what a... Stayed one night there. I have been a regular customer over quite a few years but I won't be back again. It has slipped drastically in recent times. Reception was unfriendly and curt. I am used to having a credit card swipe for security reasons but this time they actually charged me $150 as a deposit for the key. Sure... More

Good location, rooms were sufficient and loved the balcony. Secure parking and a pool were a bonus. Our room wasn't the cleanest and noise from within the complex really travelled and echoed about being quite noisy with people coming from town in the early hours of the morning. More

Good position, clean but no Iron and ironing board (have to go to laundry to get them) is not convenient for business booking. Tomorrow's clothes hanging over shower to get rid of creases. Won't be back because of this. More
