What most impressed me was that my room was available for early check in when I arrived from my flight from the US. They also were very familiar with Brisbane and provided excellent information and directions. The room was large and very well cleaned and maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had a consistent temperature. While the outside...

We booked this hotel from the Internet based on its location and price. It was all we expected and more. The staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. Our room was clean and spacious and the bathroom very nice. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room, plus a hairdryer, TV and even...

I booked this hotel as a 'mystery deal' from Expedia. I can see why they're putting themselves forward as a mystery deal as they must struggle to find bookings from other sources as I don't think I'd have booked it from any picture. The hotel looks awful from the outside and the drone of the traffic on the highway doesn't...

Staff were friendly and helpful although it took three attempts to get a folder of hotel amenities and facilities put in our room, only to find that it didnt really list any useful information! our room was fairly large, plainly decorated and quiet. The bathroom was small but adequate - the slow draining shower stall was a bit of a...

perfect location to all Kangaroo Piont attractions, first stayed on the road side, traffic noise was unbrearable, second stay, stayed at the back away from the road, but near common areas, BBq, smoking and conference rooms, floor to ceiling windows facing these area's made privacy a concern, in town for work, not to play and didn't apprecaite the constant noise...

The staff were only too helpfull in giving advice on the local attractions and we had a great couple of days. The Riverlife Adventure Centre, Story Bridge Adventure Climb, SouthBank, GOMA and the City Cats filled our Weekend in Brisbane. Then we headed to Tangalooma for the final day - Great trip with Adventure Moreton Island. Thanks Econo Lodge for...

Stayed here recently out of convenience for business and was pleasantly surprised. Econo Lodge isn't pretty from the outside, however the room wasn't bad. It was well maintained, and had everything and more than what you'd expect for the price. Best feature of this place, is definitely the location- only a short walk down to the Brisbane River. On a...

The Econo Lodge was a 'last resort 'hotel alternative when a last minute business trip found a virtually full Brisbane CBD. The hotel is well run with a professional reception desk. The rooms I stayed in was spacious, with a queen and single bed, a small table two chairs and adequate storage. The room had a 40 inch Samsung LCD...

Nice modern and clean room, but shared kitchen really awful. This motel seemed to be more suited to business travellers rather than families. Was in a good location though and easy walk to river etc.
