We stayed in one of the double rooms downstairs as attic suit was booked out but it was a very nice room. Everything is kept so well and clean would definitely stay there again. Like in other reviews I agree it is an old traditional house with timber flooring so sound like footsteps and loud phone call conversations carry easily.... More

We stayed here recently and went to the gallerys and Riverfire fireworks. Nice and tidy place, comfortable rooms and facilities. Great rate for the weekend. Amazing to have a place so close to the CBD that felt like a home. We would stay here again. More

We stayed two nights at One Thornbury. First thing you notice is a "for sale" sign in front. Take whatever meaning from that you will. Weekday daytime reception staff was somewhat surly.
