Stayed here to celebrate wedding anniversary. As everyone else says, the staff are brilliant: polite, enthusiastic and happy. Yes, it's best after day trippers leave, but there is so much to do in such a small place that nothing else matters. Don't miss the sunset cocktails nor the superb food in Emeralds restaurant. The chef even surprised us with an...

I can only echo what the previous reviewer said about the amenities and the great things about the hotel. It was a bit overshadowed by the massive amounts of day trippers that bombarded the island from 9am to 4pm. It is very secluded, which is a good thing and a bad thing.... good thing is it is a feeling of...

I stayed here for one night in January 2012. Transfers by boat with Great Adventures were included. The Island was busy with day trippers until the last boat departed at 4pm then there was only a few hotel guests left. Cocktails were arranged for us at a great spot for viewing the sunset which was brilliant. The rooms are huge...

This resort has just about everything going for it. The location is fantastic, nature at it's best. The front desk and staff are polite, attentive, efficient. The rooms are comfortable, clean with good atmosphere. Trip to the outer reef was well organized. Restaurant excellent. For sure, it is an expensive place, but no hidden costs. Honest value for your money....

Great Barrier Reef islands are notoriously expensive, for example Orpheus, Bedarra and Lizard. Green Island, however, even at its normal rates, while not cheap, is not too bad. We bought a package via the web which included catamaran transport to and from the Island, a trip to the reef, complete with underwater viewing from a semi-submarine for those not inclined...

My husband and I stayed on Green Island for two nights to celebrate his birthday recently. The staff are wonderful, so friendly, chatty and fun. Our room was clean, big and comfortable, with a great comfy bed and all the little extras like bathrobes etc. The Island is a special place (especially when the day-trippers leave!) You get to check...

My husband and I are locals and decided to treat ourselves to a night on Green island. The staff, amenities and rooms were all first class and we loved the sunset drinks on the beach (shame about the lame baskets of chips). We love to dine out and were looking forward to our meal at the restaurant. We were so...

We spent 2nights at green island resort with our 2&4 year olds-we had a ball! From the glass bottom boat tours -we saw turtles, sharks, big fish and corals, to the crocodile farm where giant crocs are fed up close, and the fish feeding sessions. the service was impeccable from the pick up to the drop off -we will be...
