Beautiful resort, very friendly staff, very clean. Only a short hop to the city centre and other attractions. Would recommend to anyone. More

We stayed 4 nights at Cairns Colonial Club. We paid very little for our package so it was very good value for money. We had a large room with a sofa, chairs and table, microwave, kitchen utensils... the room was a bit old though and the toilet flush extremely noisy. The first room we were sent to was unacceptable at any rate. Their room titles are rather confusing, I reserved a Queen, which to me means a queen size bed; this had a double, and was horrible anyway. Booked a queen room for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay except for the smell of smoke in the sheets. Breakfast was included and served in the restaurant over looking one of the pools. Staff were very friendly. Pool was excellent. Excellent facilities with microwave, tea making facilities, toaster, crockery & cutlery. Spacious room but decor was a little tired.... More
