Very handily placed in Wakefield Street, easy walking to most of central Adelaide - this good, as parking is at a premium in the city. Very nice spacious room, lovely bathroom. Large kitchen on each floor, so you can prepare your own food if you wish. Free breakfast downstairs - quite reasonable, but get there early or late, as tables... More

This is not fancy, but it was a great place to stay and I thought it was a great value. My room was quite large with a refrigerator and built in shelves and a desk against the window. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom a decent size and the location was good, not as central as some others, but... More

I'm a bit perplexed by all the positive reviews for this property, which to me seemed to be suffering from a serious identity crisis. The outside is beautiful, but the inside..wow. Very modern wallpaper and dark-wood IKEA-esque furnishings are marred by some truly awful faux European oil paintings in gaudy gold frames that are hung absolutely everywhere. Add to this... More

The Adabco has a good mix of all the things that add up to a good choice of accommodation - the rooms are comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful, the price is good value for what you're getting, and the location is convenient for getting around the city. When we checked in to our room, I was pleasantly surprised by... More

This hotel is good value for the price. I have stayed here twice on both business and for personal reasons. The price includes a basic breakfast of toast, cereals, coffee, tea and juice. No fringe benefits. The hotel itself does not have a restaurant or room service but at $119 per night that's not my main concern. The rooms I have... More

Our first experience of the Tour Down Under was made more memorable by the adabco hotel. Modern with traditional heritage, roomy, arty surroundings, breakfast included in rate, in a friendly self serve breakfast area. Kitchens on each floor were clean and well equipped. Location was excellent, walked or cycled everywhere. Hutt St nearby with great quality food options. Staff very... More

We just had a single night stopover on our way to the Ghan. Nice big room, huge bed, modern furnishings, clean and tidy, nothing to complain about. 15 mins walk to the mall, decent eating places 5 mins walk away. Very helpful desk staff. Included simple breakfast was enough for us. We also enjoyed the use of the shared guest... More

Can't add much to what others have said really. Our room was huge and high-ceilinged, which meant it wasn't exactly 'cosy', but the loads of storage space and desktop area, and space for suitcases, an enormous and very comfortable bed, and a small fridge made it one of the best value rooms we stayed in during our 5 weeks in... This boutique hotel is situated at the edge of CBD, so we could walk about 12-15 mins to the Central Market, Rundall Mall area and University of Adelaide, eastern part of North Terrace. We had rented a car and there were many parking lots in front of the hotel and across the Wakefield St; free parking from 6pm to 8am.... More

The Adabco hotel is located in a late 19th century heritage building on Adelaide’s south side. It has been completely refurbished and on arrival, presents a pleasant and pleasing ambience, reinforced by a friendly, efficient and helpful staff. The Adabco ticks most of the boxes that I look for from a tourist hotel. . My wife and I recently spent... More
