My wife and I have just spent two very comfortable nights in Down to Erth. The contrast between the slightly industrial appearance of the external surroundings as we followed the sat nav to Wedgetail Crescent and the elegance of Rose and Alex's guest accommodation was considerable and the fact that they provide a bottle of wine to welcome guests does... The accomodation was first class, we loved the layout it was very open and well designed with natural timber handrails, it has a unique style. We all agreed that the ambiance of the place was very special and we all felt very comfortable despite the stone roof and walls its hard to believe you are underground. Having free wifi and... More

Down to Ert B&B was the best place we spent in one month trip in Australia. Rose and Alex gave nice breakfast and even internet. Everything was perfect for us. We enjoyed the fantastic sunset and sunrise everyday. Took many great photos while staying there. Recommend this accommodation for travellors in Coober Pedy. Late thank-you, Rose and Alex from Seoul,... More

We were wonderfully surprised by this relaxing oasis in the middle of a long road trip from Perth to Alice Springs. A real feeling of home from home, even though we were only there for one night. Testament to the fact that it was built for family. The night sky stars were fantastic and as a surburbanite, the silence during... More

Can't say enough good things about this place. Lots of space and light, and considering it's underground it didn't feel at all claustrophobic. Rose gives you a generous breakfast package which is much nicer than the usual B&B minimalist stuff, including Rose's own jam which was excellent. It's quite private, with your own entry, but Rose and Alex are always... More

What a great place to stay. Rose and Alex were fantastic hosts. Not intrusive but there whenever we needed anything including travel advice. Generous breakfast provisions and to know that the jams were all homemade made it all the more special. Would definitely stay there again. More

On arrival, owners Rose & Alex welcomed us to our apartment, which is beautiful, clean & spacious. The kitchen was nicely stocked with breakfast for everyone and we enjoyed the wine which they provided too. We settled in because it was so homely and comfortable, and didn't want to leave when it was time to return to Adelaide. We recommend... More

This was one of our best places to stay during our recent vacation. What superb workmanship in the apartment! Not to mention that they have thought of everything a traveler would need for an overnight or longer stay. Absolutely beautiful! More

After a long drive from Adelaide we arrived in Coober Pedy to stay at Down to Erth. A great place in the middle of nowhere. Fully stocked fridge, home jams, milk and even 2 bottles of wine. Spacious accomodation. Was great to cool off in the pool. More
