We stayed here for 4 nights on a quick budget trip to Hobart. Our room 9 on the first floor was overlooking the Beer Garden at the back of the hotel which we thought could have been a problem noise wise, but didnt worry us much at all as it closed promptly every night at 2200. The morning after Anzac... More

We stayed here twice on our recent trip to Tasmania. Both rooms were quiet, clean and spaceous. Breakfast was included in the price, although you had to pay extra if you wanted anything other than very basic. We didn't have a car but the hotel is very central and within walking distance of just about any touristy place you are... More

Being a pub we were a bit worried but we need not have been. The stairs to the rooms have a seperate locable entry and, anyway, the pub closes pretty early, even on weekends. It was really quiet at night (except for a pedestrian crossing beeping) and the room was a great size. There were three of us, the room... More

Stayed here for a few nights on a recent trip to Hobart. Pros: In town centre so close to shops, breakfast included in price, new bathrooms with great shower pressure, comfy beds and good air conditioners in the room, staff friendly. Cons: Breakfast was very average, rooms were not cleaned to a very high standard, glasses and cutlery were still... More

What a great place to stay! This hotel is only a couple of blocks to the waterfront, Salamanca markets and right in the middle of town. With a very clean, comfortable, quiet, well equipped, modern room & bathroom, one flight of stairs and a secure private entrance. We enjoyed the 4 nights we stayed here (thanks to trip advisor) and... More

I stayed here Thursday & Friday nights. Friday is one of their live music nights and I have to say it was very quiet! It did not keep me awake at all. Rooms are very modern & clean, location is fantastic. Will be my first choice for future visits. More

Located above a pub, I didn't have high hopes for the accommodation, but my gosh - I was happily proved wrong! For only $89 a night in the centre of the city, this room was great. Large, clean and modern. We had no difficulty sleeping, despite being next to a main street. Breakfast was included in the price and was... More

We stayed here on the recommendation of one of the staff at Customs House. We had stayed there on previous nights, but the last night for us was booked so he called a friend here to get us a reasonable rate. Parking is not great, had to find spot on street to check in, and then move car to public... More
